Well this isnt a surprise. Really is sad because Artie really is funny when hes awake enough to contribute to the show. Sadly, those moments are few and far between now.

So after Howard takes a lengthy vacation and misses arguably the biggest entertainment news story of his career (Michael Jackson's death), Artie goes and gets busted for DUI and gets into a car accident...just as Howard prepares to return to the radio on Monday morning.
Nah, nothing peculiar about that at all. Gee, that Howard is a lucky guy.
I can't wait to hear him start his show with "so EVERYBODY has been asking me for my thoughts about Michael Jackson. Take a seat kids. I'm going to give you the info you've been dying to hear for over two weeks now..."

Unfortunately the ultra-hypocrite Howard will make excuses and jokes out of it. If it had been someone on a competitors radio show (or a Republican) he would slam em.
